Dr. Andrea Bileck is a Senior Scientist at the Joint Metabolome Facility within the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Vienna, Austria. She earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biomedical Science from the FH Campus Wien, Austria, followed by a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Vienna.
Dr. Bileck further honed her expertise during a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at Inselspital Bern, Switzerland. Her unique background in both biomedical science and analytical chemistry forms the foundation of her research, which focuses on applying in-depth multi-omics analyses to study biological samples such as blood, cells, tissues, and other human-derived materials like finger sweat.
Her primary objective is to support clinical research projects through multi-omics strategies, aiming to provide deeper insights into physiological and pathophysiological mechanisms.
